Clean your hard drive with DBAN

DBAN (Darik's Boot And Nuke) is a bootable disk in order to clear the entire contents of your hard drive. Very useful if you are going to give your computer to someone or throw it and do not want to leave traces of information stored

Its use is easy, download the ISO image from here and once recorded, start the computer with the CD as the first start, the first thing you see is the following:

Press Enter to go to interactive mode.

Disabling nouveau:

$ sudo gedit / etc / modprobe.d / blacklist.conf
